We will be rolling out a full-day Evergreen Admin training shortly. Details about registering will be available as soon as we finalize dates and locations. We are hoping to schedule three workshops between June 14 and June 23, hopefully, in a region near you!
Here's the objectives for the one-day course, designed for System Administrators:
Workshop attendees should be able to:
- Know the basic workflow and components of an Evergreen system.
- Explain the differences between Local and Server Administration levels in Evergreen and how to define administrative tasks between levels.
- Understand the role of Organizational Types and Units in Evergreen configuration.
- Define Permission Groups and Users.
- Assign Library-specific settings and options.
- Configure basic hold and circulation policies.
- Be familiar with Evergreen reports.
We'll also be offering a similar class on Koha Admin - that will be in July.
