Greetings,
Well, it has taken a bit longer than we'd hoped to get back in touch with you since the Open Source workshop you attended (or registered for) but...the Open Source - Open Libraries consortium would like to officially invite you to visit our website at http::/opensource.califa.org. Some of you have already done so and I hope you've found the website useful. Other people haven't visited yet, so we want to make sure everyone knows about some of the great material there.
First of all, please register at the website so we know you are there. By registering, you can ensure that you get notified when new content is added and when new events are announced. You can also set up alerts when content with a specific tag is added. You have complete control over your notifications using.
Registered users may also participate in the Q&A area. Feel free to use the Q&A to ask any 'ol question you like. I am monitoring the Q&A so if I can't answer your question, I'll track down someone who can! I've already entered all the questions asked during the Koha webinars that Nicole Engard did, so if you missed that, you can find the archived webinars and all the Q's and A's that came in during the webinar right there.
One more thing will be available soon....but only for registered users. We'll be setting up a chatroom where everyone online can chat in real-time!
So, come on over to the Open Source - Open Libraries website and be sure to take your shoes and socks off and play awhile! And don't be shy, let us know what else we can do to help get you more familiar with the opportunities associated with Open Source Library System software.
